I am so unbelievably late with February Budget Report. I’m not even really sure why, I screenshot all the info I needed at the very end of the month and then the next thing I new it was mid-March and I realized I hadn’t written the post!
I also managed to mess up some of my data that I had saved for this so whilst the outgoings are accurate, the incomes are not, I had a whole list of what amount came from what hustle and I accidentally deleted it so no we’re stuck with guesstimate figures…serves me right for not getting the Budget Report done sooner I suppose!
These are all fairly self-explanatory costs but I’m going to explain some of the higher ones as.
Here is our Budget Report for February 2019
Income
Charlotte/Dean – This is the amount we both pay into the joint account each month from our wages.
Sidehustles – Any money made during the month that isn’t our usual income.
Everyday Rewards – This is a monthly bonus our bank pays if we hit certain criteria.
Sidehustles
BebeMakes/BangOnBlanks/Blog – I can make a rough guess and say that I think £400 came from BebeMakes, £300 came from BangOnBlanks and £130 came from the blog. I’ll make doubly sure to have the figures right next month!
Rent/Utilities
No change here, this will pretty much stay the same month to month from now on.
Envelopes
Grocceries – Better than it has been the past few months, still think I can get it down lower!
Lifestyle
Train – Dean worked a few overtime hours this month so I had to catch the train home
Household Stock-up – We needed a few bits like toiletries and cleaning items so I did a stock up in HomeBargians, think I might make a Sinking Fund for this in the future.
Date Night – Since this was our first month being debt free we went out on two dates nights!
Misc – This includes a few prescriptions/painkillers picked up from the chemist and an Amazon order for some new kitchen utensils.
Insurance & Tax
Contents and Car Insurance – We paid both of these in full for the year this month, we had been putting money into a Sinking Fund for it and its so satisfying to get it paid in one go!
Sinking Funds
Being debt free means we have plenty of money this month to fill up the sinking funds!
Subscriptions
These will be staying the same month on month I’d expect.
