Slowly but surely I am de-cluttering the offices. It should just be office singular but a lot of our stock has encroached into Deans office and had kind of taken over half the room!
The de-clutter and tidy for the offices has been long overdue, boxes had started staking up against our stock shelves (which were a mess as in themselves) and it was becoming the collecting ground for stuff we didn’t know where else to put, were too lazy to sort out or to get listed to sell.
I had to move some furniture out of my office (my dressing table that had been doubling up as a photography and postage area for the past year has finally moved back upstairs) to be able to move the stock shelves in but I’m glad I did as it’s given me a lot more room.
I’ve now got all our current stock blanks sitting on the shelves ready to be personalised and it also makes it a lot easier to see what I’ve got to work with when designing new products. There is still a tonne to sort through and reorganize but now that this main area has been done it feels less overwhelming.
